Justin Flom’s Imaginary Theatre

Nearly five years ago, June of 2006, the Imaginary Theatre opened in Branson, MO. For four years visitors experienced an interactive magic show with floating tables, falling chandeliers, moving bookcases, and large illusions closer to the audience than any other magic show could boast.

It’s been two years since real estate circumstances caused the theatre to close, but the Imaginary Theatre and the town of Branson still holds a special place in my heart. Hundreds of shows and thousands of audience members made Branson an unforgettable journey.justin flom marquee

I was recently asked to post some pictures as well as a summary of the whole experience for those who never made it to the Ozarks. Here’s both, images of the beautiful theatre as captured by the very talented Jim Lersch, and a 2006 review out of the oldest magic publication in circulation, The Linking Ring.

I hope you get a window into what was my heart, the Imaginary Theatre.

Bill Shorter - Justin is already ready for the Las Vegas Strip. The only question is whether the talent scout for the strip are smart enough to grab him, before Atlantic City or some lesser venue ties into him.
